Sorry again- God, I hate starting with apologies - but well...
I'm going AGAIN this week-end... which means LT's B-day present will... erm, be "in the making". Mystery-voice's is also comming along, but I paused it since it just needs colouring now, while LostThyme's needs way MORE things: final sketches, colouring AND backgrounds. I'm going to go chose some nice ones I'll patiently re-draw, and then use arcsoft to merge the pics, since I really can't draw a good background with a character in front That will need practise...

Other than that, the reason why I'm so slow is that my exams are coming up soon (AAAAAARGH!!!! In two months! And my life depends on it! Well, not REALLY, but kind of ) and that I don't have as much time to work for my art teacher's homework anymore! I mean, before, I used to make stuff well in advance: we're given homework on Wednesday and need to give it back the next week. Then, as time went by, I realised I started finishing my work later and later, like, so close to the deadline I was adding finishing touches thirty minutes before leaving home for class!
But now, I think I've REALLY exagerated... Last week, she asked us to present work she'd given us TWO WEEKS to prepare: the polyptichs. And I wasn't ready. I didn't even bring notes to show her that I'd work, since- let's face it- I hadn't really done anything! So instead, I lamely doodled stuff on the white board to explain what the final thing would look like, and improvised when people asked questions. Honestly, I don't even know why I'm so good at improvisation: I suck at remembering lines for real drama, but in desperate situations, I'm told I look WAY calmer than I am. So I managed to make the teacher believe I knew more about some artists than I really did (OK, I'd read what, two articles in a magazine and seen three pics? And there I was, talking with my hands and sketching stuff as though they were my personal heroes since I was 4 or something XD Even Lola didn't know how I'd done that).

But that was REAL close! So now, I have a single week to make TWO polyptichs :facepalm: I'm really dumb, but well... At least I managed to make people believe it was all part of my "plaaan", as Sirrus would put it XD
Other projects: don't ask- I planned out MORE stuff for my BAC thing on "Time", but guess what? Not only do I still need four ideas (I'll look up stuff in my older threads and all your comments, don't worry ^^) but one of the works that was "in progress" is now entirely lost! Remember that computer glitch? That microsoft thing? Yeah, that's right: I forgot that I'd left ALL of my ocean videos I'd taken throughout the winter on a file that got deleted. Some were really awesome :/ Especially those I'd done during storms! But well, that's life... I'll need to make some more

Which is why I'll need to leave all my "For Queen And Age" sketches aside and focus both on my school work and B-day commissions. But I promise, as soon as those are all done, I'll let everyone have a random commission ^^
